With little bling-bling and an attractive price, my test series of Xilence coolers continues today. Recently, we just had an air cooler from this brand, and now another AiO water cooler follows. Whether the Xilence Performance X LiQuRizer LQ240PRO also turns out to be a simple insider tip, you can find out in the following article. Packaging and scope of delivery
A mostly black and white cardboard box makes the start, but here and there there is some color on the packaging. As usual, there is a picture of the product on the front, but here in the style of a pencil drawing.
Then on the back there is a table with the key data as well as a proper photo of the contents.
Instead of a cardboard casing, a large block of foam has been chosen here. It protects immensely well, but is much more difficult to recycle than cardboard.
The accessories are quite clear and limited to the most necessary: Two backplates for Intel sockets, various brackets, other mounting accessories and a small tube of thermal paste as well as a Y-cable for 4-pin PWM fans.
Assembly and installation
Once again, the existing backplate from Am4 motherboards is reused, but the brackets on the front have to give way. Replace them with four spacers, four screws and two brackets for the pump block.
In the last step, this is then only placed on the processor and tightened with two spring-loaded screws.

Mir gefallen die AiO Pumpen mit "externen" Schlauchanschlüssen auch immer viel besser, als wenn die Schlauchanschlüssen direkt aus der Pumpe nach oben raus führen. Dadurch ist mehr Platz in der AiO Pumpe, und idR auch eine größere KupferGrundPlatte vorhanden. Nur die 90° SchlauAnschlüsse selber, könnte einen etwas größeren Innenquerschnitt haben.

Ist die Xilence Horst besser als die Sharkoon Eusebia läs ich zu gerne mal und genau deswegen steht das jetzt auch hier :)
Eine Frage: das Fazit bezieht sich worauf bzw was mit ein?

Mal rein umwelttechnisch gedacht, empfinde ich den Weg von der Papp-Nierenschale Richtung Schaumstoff jetzt nicht so toll.
Ich hatte und habe noch einige der 240er AIOs (ganz ohne RGB und Pro) von Xilence im Einsatz gehabt. Die RMA-Quote war jetzt nicht prickelnd und das "Gluckern" recht ausgeprägt. Aber die Kühlleistung war OK und die Montage sehr einfach (fast ein Traum im Vergleich zu Alphacool).
Ich versuche aber generell AIOs mangels Verlässlichkeit und Haltbarkeit aus meinen PCs zu verbannen. Die meisten kaufen das wegen der Optik und wundern sich dann wenn nach zwei, drei Jahren der Ärger anfängt. Mit dem guten alten Turmkühler passieren halt so Dinge wie "Gluckern, verstopfte Kühlfinnen, kaputte Pumpen etc. nicht. Und als Sondermüll muss man die auch nicht entsorgen.

Ok, das ist Mal wieder eine eher größere Umweltsauerei mit etlichen Folien plus den Schaumstoff. Mann oh Mann.
